My wife called me on Friday while I was at Trail Days to tell me about this and even though I’ve only met her once, this has really bothered me. She was a friend of Elissa’s mother and the grandson in the article is one of Elissa’s brothers best friends. He spent a weekend at my camper once and I have to say I feel really bad for this kid, first losing his mother to be raised by his grandmother who gets murdered in cold blood. She did not deserve to die because of some nutcase who didn’t get her payday in court over a $3500 engine. I hope one day medical science advances to the point that not only victims such as Tammy could be brought back to life, but their cowardly suicidal killers can be brought back to life and brought to justice and to suffer for their crimes instead of taking the easy way out. Such tragedy over something as stupid as an engine. We are not guaranteed to live into the next minute in this life. What’s next? Are people going to get shot over paying too much at the pump? Flat tires? Getting cut off in traffic? The anger over these things are not worth anyones life, period.
